Brethren,

It is with a heavy heart that I share (on behalf of the eldership at the Miami Gardens church of Christ) that our dear brother Jack Smith died early this morning (8/4/20).

The Miami Gardens family is deeply saddened by the loss of our brother, but we celebrate his faithful life in Christ Jesus (Rev. 2:10; 14:13).

Details have not been finalized, but out of an abundance of caution, we will limit attendance at the funeral to no more than 30% auditorium capacity (150 people).

We will stream the funeral live to accommodate those who will not be physically in attendance.

Update on funeral arrangements:
On Saturday, August 15th…

• 11:00 AM – Homegoing service at the Miami Gardens church of Christ
• 1:30 PM – Gravesite ceremony at Forest Lawn in Broward

Brother Johnny Jones passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

On Friday, August 7, 2020, the viewing (11:00 a.m.) and funeral (11:30 a.m.) will be held at the building. Masks are a requirement and social distancing will be strictly enforced.

A very special thank you to the members who participated in the Family Fellowship on Saturday evening. It was a great time for everyone to spend quality time together. We will continue to schedule fellowship activities for the benefit of the congregation.
